More Berroco!

The weather this weekend has been sunny and warm, but with Rhinebeck in two weeks and the foliage on the trees, Fall is around the corner. Fall is one of our favorite seasons of the year because it contains the initial spark that inspires us to knit a cardigan, a scarf for someone loved, or holiday mittens. With that said, let's introduce some new Fall yarns from Berroco.

Let's talk about Peruvia. This is 100% Highland Peruvian Wool. Each skein contains 174 yards and is 4.25 stitches to the inch. If you are loving the Norah Gaughan's Tilted Duster on the cover of Interweave Knits this yarn matches gauge. Both the yarn and Interweave are available at the shop. If you are looking for a new knitted purse, try the Bramble Bag from the Berroco website.

Also from Berroco is Comfort. Comfort is so soft. The yarn is 50% superfine nylon and 50% superfine acrylic.
And this is comfort as well. There are so many color options (and yes-we have more in the back!). The gauge of Comfort is 4.5-5 stitches per inch. The yardage is great at 210 yards each skein. The directions on the website to wash state the following, "Machine wash on gentle cycle in warm water. No bleach. Tumble dry on low heat." Are you thinking what I am thinking? How about an afghan? How about the log cabin blanket from Mason Dixon?
