Thursday Night Knitting

Despite the rain and soggy weather, Thursday night was going strong with diverse projects in progress and two little elves working hard in the stockroom. One project all done appeared by Mary which was also designed by her using the layette stitch. Isn't it great when knitters and crocheters have that creative spark and take the initiative to knit something new.

And what about these socks? Check out Kathy's Snowflake Socks from the Fall Interweave Knits. Kathy is the master fair isle knitter and this isn't her first pair of socks.

And then some people were picking out some new projects. Here's Kelly's pool of possibilities.

If you said, Log Cabin Blanket, you're right. Kelly is in the process of making a log cabin blanket and Louet Gems is a great yarn because it is machine washable. Kelly has a great eye for baby sweaters, so this should be beautiful!

I can't believe I didn't buy it - it looks so good in the picture... I think I might have to come by this weekend...
