'Knitted Homes of Crime', Freddie Robins, 2002. Image comes from Victoria & Albert Museum.
A great website to read is the Victoria & Albert Museum (yes, the one in located in England). The museum contains a collection of knitted items, information on the knitting from the British Isles, as well as patterns from the 1940's and Rowan. An interesting section is on knitting designers which include pages on Joan Allen, Sasha Kagan, Ruth Lee, and Freddie Robins.
So, my favorite link to start investigating the website is the page entitled "Share Your Knitting".
And don't forget the Spring Sale ends tomorrow on Sunday. Sheila's got some great yarns at crazy prices.
