This purse was brought in by our famous Remy. Remy made up the pattern and kudos to her! There is something elegant about mixing blue and brown.
It's a small post but I did want to include another picture of a section in our shop known as the wall of Schaeffer. On top of this bookcase are straight needles including Lantern Moon, Skacel, Fiddlesticks, Bryspun, Clover and more. Schaeffer yarns are amazing. They are individually hand painted and some of their yarns have been inspired and named after famous women. Our Schaeffer selection includes Anne (which is a fingering weight and with the sock yarn), Esperanza, Nancy, and Miss Priss. Esperanza is a favorite at the shop. So, let's talk about her. It is 70% lambswool and 30% alpaca. This yarn is extremely warm and is perfect for the winter cold night in front of a fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate in the wintertime, but it also extremely light. Each 8 oz. skein contains 280 yards (sweater quantity is 5 skeins) and it is a bulky weight yarn which gets 3-3.5 st/in. Patty knit up a basketweave wrap in Esperanza which is always available to touch and try on from our knit samples bookcase.
